Natural movements that keep you ahead of your opponents

Our teams extensive development and research in sports performance has resulted in a unique rocker. The patented technology, with its rocking motion, allows you to achieve natural maneuverability, maximizing performance as well as your comfort.

ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY

Flow Motion Technology uses a unique rocker to create a natural motion in the interface between foot and the ski or skate. This creates general benefits to all products developed with Flow Motion Technology, but also more specific benefits when applied in different sports.

ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY

Flow Motion Technology uses a unique rocker to create a natural motion in the interface between foot and the ski or skate. This creates general benefits to all products developed with Flow Motion Technology, but also more specific benefits when applied in different sports.

BENEFITS

CONTROL

Flow Motion Technology gives you better control during your performance. It introduces a dynamic pivot point that lets you regulate your balance and stability seamlessly through your motion.

SPEED

Extensive third-party testing shows that Flow Motion Technology increases your speed. The rocker allows for natural movement that unlocks your and the gear’s full potential.

POWER

With Flow Motion Technology, you release more of your power where it matters. Less wasted energy and increased output optimization, in all phases of your movement.

ICE HOCKEY

HIGHER SPEED

The technology enables more steel on the ice at all times, for a longer, more efficient stride.

QUICKER TURNS

The rocker enables faster weight transfer to create tighter and more efficient turns.

INCREASED POWER

The rocker optimizes balance for a stronger and more explosive skating position.

OFF-ICE TRAINING

SIMULATES ICE SKATING

The unique rocker replicates the radius shaped ice blade to give the same feel as skating on ice.

IMPROVES ON-ICE SKATING

Challenge players’ balance and activates ice hockey specific muscle groups.

IMPROVES SHOT & STICKHANDLING

Helps to master all the movements in the stabilizing chain of muscles and joints.

WORDS FROM THE PRO

Hear Flow Motion Technology investor and NHL top scorer Auston Matthews talk about how the technology has improved his performance.

ROLLER HOCKEY

MORE POWER AND SPEED

The unique rocker enable extended 4-wheel contact with the floor at all times, generating more power.

QUICKER TURNS

Efficient weight transfer and heel pushes for tighter turns while keeping speed.

IMPROVED GRIP AND CONTROL

Enables all 4-wheels to stay on the floor longer as the rocker follows the movements.

XC SKIING

Two-time Olympic medalist Teodor Peterson is involved in optimizing the FMT XC prototype.

MORE POWER

Provides extended contact with the ski during a stride cycle, generating performance results which in testing indicates a more powerful push-off.

LONGER STRIDES

Enables the foot’s motion to extend further forward during skate and diagonal skiing.

OPTIMIZED POSITION

Gives the skier the ability to move the center of gravity for an optimized position on the skis when skiing uphill versus downhill.

ALPINE SKIING

Former National Swedish Ski Team skier Jonna Luthman , testing the FMT binding plate.

LESS VIBRATIONS

The rocking motion between the ski and the binding-plate dampens vibration, providing added comfort, better control, and grip in the snow leading to more consistent performance. Scientifically significant decrease of eigen vibrations of 27% (on average) has been confirmed by studies at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

IMPROVED FLEXIBILITY

Aids the ski to bend in a harmonious arc, making carving turns cleaner and enabling smaller radius turns.

SAFETY

The flex of the ski does not affect the ski-binding preload. This gives the binding an additional safety performance feature.

SPEED SKATING

CHASING MILLISECONDS

Just as the clap skate changed speed skating a few decades ago, the speed and short track skate powered by Flow Motion Technology has the potential to completely change the sports and push the boundaries of speed and agility on the track, going into the 2020s. With the ice holder performance tests showing increases of performance up to 3.4% on C-cuts with Flow Motion Technology, the potential in speed skating is promising.
